With your current DNS settings, you will be automatically redirected to a Chorus ntl service page
if you try to reach a webpage that does not exist. If you don’t want to see this service page again,
you have to change your DNS settings. Just follow the instructions below to make this change.
We have provided instructions for Windows, Vista and Mac users on how to opt out of the search
page service. Please ensure you follow the steps for your software.
Windows users follow these steps:
With your current DNS settings, you will be automatically redirected to a Chorus ntl service page
if you try to reach a webpage that does not exist. If you don’t want to see this service page again,
you have to change your DNS settings. Just follow the instructions below to make this change:
Click on Start, choose Settings and then Network Connections to open the window that is shown
in the first screenshot.
Right Click on Local Area Connection to open your network properties. The Local Area
Connection Properties open in a new window like the one in the second screenshot.
Select Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) in the items-list and click on Properties. You have now opened
the window that is shown in the screenshot below.
Select “Use the following DNS server addresses:” and type the following Preferred DNS server
address: 89.101.160.8 or alternatively 89.101.160.9
Press OK to save the new settings. Your DNS has now been changed and the Chorus ntl service
page will no longer be shown to you.
Vista users follow these steps:
Click on Start, choose Settings and then Control Panel. Double click on Network and Sharing
Center to open the window that is shown in the first screenshot.
Click on Manage network connections in the left hand column. You will now see an overview of
your network connections.
Double click on Local Area Connection to open the connection status window.
Click on Properties. Windows might ask you for your permission to continue. Press Continue to
proceed. You have now opened the window that is shown in the second screenshot.
Make sure Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) is selected before you continue. Click on
Properties to open the window that is shown in the screenshot below.
Select “Use the following DNS server addresses:” and type the following Preferred DNS server
address: 89.101.160.8 or alternatively 89.101.160.9
Press OK to save the new settings. Your DNS has now been changed and the Chorus ntl service
page will no longer be shown to you.
Mac users follow these steps:
Click on Apple and choose System Preferences. Click on Network to open the window that is
shown in the screenshot below.
Make sure your location is set to Automatic and Configure is set to Using DHCP. Type the
following DNS server address in the DNS Server field: 89.101.160.8 or alternatively 89.101.160.9
Press Apply to save the new settings. Your DNS has now been changed and the UPC service
page will no longer be shown to you.
